Director of Naberezhnye Chelny Institute Georgy Kotiev passes away aged 57
Georgy Kotiev devoted his life to science and education. In the two years he headed the Naberezhnye Chelny Institute, he managed to modernize the educational process, contributed to infrastructural improvements and scientific potential of the Institute.
Dr Kotiev made a number of fundamental discoveries in machine manufacturing and brought up a number of talented researchers and engineers. His scientific heritage is now an inalienable part of the treasury of Russian engineering thought, and his contributions are put to practice at Russia’s largest companies.
Dr Kotiev was not only a brilliant scholar and a wise mentor, but also a very responsive person who was loyal to his calling to the very last day. The loving memory of this outstanding man will forever live in the hearts of his colleagues and students.
