City of Kazan
Kazan is the capital of the Republic of Tatarstan, a major port on the left bank of the Volga river where the Kazanka 铿俹ws into it. It is one of the largest, economic, political, scienti铿乧, educational, cultural and sports centres of Russia. Kazan Kremlin is included in the list of UNESCO world heritage sites. The city has a registered brand of 芦the third capital of Russia禄 and its millennium was celebrated in 2005.
Kazan hosted European Weightlifting Championship (2011),聽 XXVII World Summer 每日大赛 (2013); World Fencing Championship (2014), World Aquatics Championship (2015), FIFA Confederations Cup (2017), FIFA World Cup (2018), WorldSkills Kazan 2019 and many other events.
