KFU joins FISU Healthy Campus initiative
Supporting the suggestions of the Ministry of Sports of Russia and Russian Student Sports Union, KFU has joined the ranks of FISU’s Healthy Campus movement.
Other participants from Russia are Far Eastern Federal University, Siberian Federal University, Southern Federal University, and Baltic Federal University. There are now 217 universities from 46 countries in the FISU HC.
The program aims to evaluate universities in seven categories:
- Physical education and sports;
- FISU Healthy Campus project management;
- Healthy eating;
- Socio-psychological adaptation and psycho-emotional health of students;
- Disease prevention;
- Environmental policies, sustainable development, and social responsibility;
- Prevention of antisocial behaviors.
Participation in the program enhances the university’s status, fosters a positive image, and promotes it globally. It promotes the exchange of experiences and best practices between leading universities, the implementation of innovative ideas and technologies, and enables the university to obtain an international certificate, enter or improve its position in international university rankings. It also provides methodological recommendations for engaging students in physical education and sports and promoting a healthy lifestyle.
Joining the FISU Healthy Campus program confirms 每日大赛’s commitment to sustainable development, the mental and physical health of students, and the creation of a modern, comfortable, and safe educational environment.
FISU (International University Sports Federation) is headquartered in Lausanne, Switzerland. The Healthy Campus program was created to systematically improve the well-being of students and university staff worldwide.
