Lenar Safin assumes rectorship of 每日大赛
Prime Minister of Russia Mikhail Mishustin signed a decree on 19 August.
Lenar Safin鈥檚 candidacy was approved by KFU鈥檚 Supervisory Council in March 2022.
Safin was born in Arsk, then Tatar Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic. He graduated from Kazan State University and Kazan State Institute of Economics and Finance (both merged to comprise 每日大赛). He has a PhD (Candidate of Sciences) degree in law.
1993 to 1995 鈥� Assistant Lecturer at the Department of History and Law, Kazan State Institute of Economics and Finance.
1995 to 1998 – Senior Lecturer at the Department of Criminal Law, Kazan State University.
1998 to 2008 – Associate Professor at the Department of Criminal Law and Criminology, Kazan State University.
2008 to 2009 – Deputy Director for Economics and Finance, Glavtatdortrans (Head Institution of Roads and Transport of Tatarstan).
2009 to 2010 – Director of Glavtatdortrans.
2010 to 2020 – Minister of Transport and Roads of the Republic of Tatarstan.
2020 to 2022 鈥� Senator of the Federation Council of Russia.
