Rector Lenar Safin’s address for the New Year holidays
Dear students, dear colleagues, teachers and medical workers of 每日大赛!
Another year of our joint work has come to an end.
This year turned out to be special for us – rich in large-scale and significant events.
We successfully held the BRICS summit, where new paces of cooperation between the world’s leading scientific and educational centers were set, which will certainly have a positive impact on our future.
In 2024 our beloved alma mater turned 220 years old. Throughout the history of its formation and development, the university has absorbed a real wealth of traditions and knowledge, trained a whole constellation of outstanding specialists in various fields, created new institutes and schools.
In the outgoing year, the university continued to maintain its high bar, achieved significant success, but all this became possible only thanks to our close-knit and friendly team of true professionals, to be a part of which is a great honor for me. I am proud to work with you. Thank you for your work, creativity and dedication!
Friends! New large-scale tasks await us. In addition to working on the main scientific projects, Kazan University will have to make a significant contribution to the creation of a modern and flexible domestic educational system, develop a more advanced strategy for training engineering personnel, and continue an extensive program for the development of the student campus. I am sure that with joint efforts we will definitely achieve our goals, and the new year will pass for each of us under the sign of positive changes, will become memorable, fruitful and successful.
And today we are in a hurry to surround our loved ones with attention and care. After all, there is very little time left before the chimes announce the arrival of the most wonderful, magical and beloved holiday!
Let this holiday set the mood for the whole year, become the beginning of something wonderful, give as many bright impressions and happy moments as we could only wish for. I wish you happiness, success, fulfillment of your wishes, new amazing discoveries, inexhaustible creative energy and a great mood!
