Opening ceremony of the 1st International Early Career Educational Researchers’ Conference
The conference is a part of the 6th International Forum on Teacher Education (IFTE-2021).
The opening ceremony was visited by Rector Ilshat Gafurov, who gave a welcome speech.
He said, in particular, “It’s good to see that the Early Career Researchers’ Conference is a part of IFTE-2021. 340 of the 1,500 contributors of the Forum are young scholars.”
He noted that KFU is an active participant of multiple youth policy initiatives in Russia and Tatarstan. He informed that four more positions will be opened specifically for young researchers at the Institute of Psychology and Education, “The job listing has been posted, and I hope to see some of the people sitting here today in our ranks next year.”
During the ceremony, the attendees were also addressed by Elena Kazakova, Director of Institute of Pedagogy of Saint-Petersburg State University. She said that young teachers today face a challenging coexistence of physical and virtual realities. “Whatever time it is now, the most important thing for growth is your love for your craft,” she emphasized. “The happiness of every family depends on our ability to inspire, to encourage and to increase interest in science and life.”
Director of the Institute of Psychology and Education Aydar Kalimullin opined that the conference is an experiment for Kazan University and a very important event for young scholars.
