Cooperation opportunities discussed with Ambassador of Qatar Ahmed bin Nasser bin Jassim Al-Thani

Rector Ilshat Gafurov familiarized the guests with KFU鈥檚 current priorities, infrastructure and plans, with a special focus on digital transformation and science-to-practice transfer platforms.
The Ambassador reacted, 鈥淲e have heard much about one of Russia鈥檚 oldest universities. Kazan University has rich history, and its talented alumni are famous around the world, which attests the quality of your teaching.鈥�
Programs in Arabic culture and language were also mentioned during the negotiations, as well as cooperation in student exchange and joint courses.
Vice-Rector for Petroleum and Gas Technology Danis Nurgaliev mentioned KFU鈥檚 research in new energy sources, which also piqued the visitors鈥� interest.
