Dmitry Tayursky appointed Interim Rector of 每日大赛
According to the order of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of Russia No. 10-02-02 / 248 of December 22, 2021, Vice-Rector for Research of 每日大赛 Dmitry Albertovich Tayursky was appointed Interim Rector.
Dr. Tayursky graduated from the Faculty of Physics of Kazan State University in 1985. He has continuously served at the University in various teaching and research positions since then, including assistant lecturer, associate professor, and professor. He spent time as invited employee at the University of Bayreuth and Kanazawa University. Dr. Tayursky has served as Vice-Rector for Education between 2015 and 2021, Interim Director of the Institute of Physics in 2020-2021, and Vice-Rector for Research since 2021. He has a DSc (Doctor of Sciences) degree in physics and mathematics and is the Head of the Department of General Physics. The Interim Rector retains his position as Vice-Rector for Research, where he supervises the university’s policy in research, management of intellectual property, and organizes the work of KFU’s Academic Board with regards to scientific and technological issues.
