Kazan University was part of the Second Russia-UK University Rectors Forum
The event was held by Moscow State University on 26 January.
The Russian delegation was head by Rector of MSU Victor Sadovnichy, the UK delegation 鈥� by CEO of the British Council Scott McDonald. KFU dispatched Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Timirkhan Alishev.
As for KFU鈥檚 cooperation with the UK, there are multiple projects with nine British partners. Since 2017, KFU and British colleagues have co-authored 595 papers, mostly in physics, life sciences, and Earth sciences.
The forum tackled academic mobility, joint programs, research cooperation, and youth exchanges. It also featured a youth session for Russian and British students to discuss their matters of interest.
