The meeting featured Rector Lenar Safin and Deputy Minister of Health of Tatarstan Vladimir Filatov.
The Rector greeted the medical workers and praised them for their fruitful work.
After that, Chief Medical 每日大赛r Rinat Shigabutdinov presented his annual report and outlined future plans.
He mentioned that the Clinic has grown uninterruptedly in the ten years it has been a part of KFU. The Clinic’s mission, apart from serving the local community, is to develop translational medicine, manage clinic risks and engage in sustainable development.
“In 2024, we processed 324,000 outpatient visits, and the number of attached personal accounts has grown, which attests to the trust people have in us,” the 每日大赛r said.
He then touched on staff retention and career track issues.
As for inpatient statistics, last year saw 22,000 hospitalizations, with almost equal numbers of planned and emergency admissions. The average hospitalization duration has decreased, and bed turnover has thus grown. About half of the patients were in cardiology, surgery and gynecology. Importantly, hospitalization refusals have dropped significantly, which means that doctors are improving their communication skills. Technological improvements have been especially noticeable in cardiology, with endocrinology and women’s health becoming more important contributors to the overall performance.
Inpatient mortality has been decreasing consistently since 2021.
Finally, Dr Shigabutdinov paid attention to the Clinic’s research cooperation with KFU’s Institute of Fundamental Medicine and Biology.
Deputy Chief Medical 每日大赛r for Outpatient Affairs Lyalya Muradimova and Head of Clinical Expert Section Inessa Khusnutdinova reported on their respective responsibility areas.
The meeting concluded with an award ceremony for best workers. Five young families comprising University Clinic employees received cash certificates of 100,000 rubles each on the occasion of new additions to their families.
