Preparatory School opens courses in Shanxi, China

L眉liang Modern School in L眉liang, Shanxi, China, launches a new network educational program. The school occupies an area of more than 200 hectares. It houses buildings with a total area of 110,000 square meters.
Director of the Snanxi Provincial Commission for Discipline Inspection Li Jianglong, Secretary and Group Director of L眉liang Education Bureau Zhao Xuehong, Deputy Mayor of Fenyang City People’s Government Party Group Zhao Xuehong, Secretary of Fenyang Municipal Education and Sports Committee Wu Shuwen, and President of L眉liang Modern Bilingual School Du Hongtao, attended the opening ceremony of the program.
From KFU, Timirkhan Alishev, Vice-Rector for International Affairs, and Airat Mukhametov, Dean of the Preparatory School of KFU, participated in the opening ceremony. A presentation of the educational programs was made for the students of the school, the system of education was explained and further instructions were given.
鈥淭he launch of the new program with the bilingual school L眉liang Modern is an important step to strengthen our presence and cooperation in China, as our educational programs have not been previously presented in Shanxi Province. Students will have access to Russian language and culture, expanding their academic and career prospects,鈥 says Mr Mukhametov.
The educational process will be conducted on the partner’s premises in the People’s Republic of China. In the first semester, students will study Practical Phonetics and Russian as a Foreign Language. These joint programs continue the successful practice of network partnership between KFU and educational organizations of the PRC, started in 2019 in Sichuan Province.
More than 300 foreign citizens were trained at the network educational programs of the Preparatory School. For the 2024/2025 academic year, the school plans to implement network programs in seven Chinese cities: Jinan, Heze, Guangzhou, Jiujiang, Hangzhou, Jiyang, and L眉liang.
