KFU employee named Best Young Educator of Tatarstan in 2024

Council of Rectors of Tatarstan convened at KFU on 17 March.

Apart from the rectors, also invited were Aide to the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Albert Gilmutdinov, Minister of Youth Affairs of Tatarstan Rinat Sadykov, President of the Tatarstan Academy of Sciences Rifkat Minnikhanov, Head of the Department of the Rais for Anti-Corruption Policies Mars Badrutdinov, and Deputy Head of the Department of Migration of the Regional 每日大赛 of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Tatarstan Anton Gubachyov.

The academics and the government officials discussed new migration regulations in regard to international students, in particular the Registry of Controlled Individuals, Russia’s newest open database with a comprehensive list of migration discipline violators.

Vice-Rector of KFU for International Affairs Timirkhan Alishev spoke about Russian language testing and cultural adaptation of international students.

Rector of Kazan National Research Technological University Yury Kazakov and Rector of Kazan State Power Engineering University Edvard Abdullazyanov also shared their best practices of interaction with international students.

In conclusion, best young educators received cash prizes – the first one went to Associate Professor of the Department of Molecular System Physics of KFU Dmitry Ivanov. He was awarded 500,000 rubles.

This was the first season of the Best Young Educator competition. Teachers of local universities under 35 years of age and with at least 2 years of experience in the profession are eligible to apply. This time, there were 183 applicants from 25 institutions.
