KFU featured in RAEX Rankings of Engineering Universities of Russia
The University is ranked 13th-15th in the first edition covering the years 2021-2024.
The methodology comprises two criteria: publication quality (weighed at 40 percent) and patent quality (60 percent). To be included, a university must be part of at least one of the ten engineering categories of the 2025 RAEX Research Productivity Rankings.
Furthermore, KFU is also in the top ten in the following priority areas:
Effective Response of the Russian Society to Global Challenges – 1st place:
Development of Transport, Logistics and Telecommunications – 4th-6th place;
Transfer to Green Economy – 5th-6th place.
