Professor Dmitry Martynov once again mentioned among the best Wikipedians of the year
Three of his articles from 2021 were awarded.
鈥淚 started working with Wikipedia in 2008,鈥� says Martynov. 鈥淚n almost 13 years, I have authored 450 articles. You have to compete in something, often confer with your colleagues, discover new things 鈥� those are all life skills in our professional community. Importantly, even in the time of the overflow of media content and the spread of social networks, the free encyclopedia is a giant, reliable, fundamental pillar of classical text knowledge, without which we are not going to fare well.鈥�
The three commended articles are:
(Papyrus);
(Iosif Grigulevich);
(Adam Johann von Krusenstern).
Articles of the Year are marked by a gold star with laurel branches.
Martynov鈥檚 articles have received high praise before. In 2019, the winners were (First Russian Antarctic expedition) and (Louis Pasteur).
