Academic Board concludes the year
The University’s standing executive body gathered on 29 December.
In the beginning, Rector Lenar Safin gave away provincial and federal awards and commendations to employees.
As for the agenda, changes were made to existing dissertation boards of KFU and structural changes were approved for several institutes and departments.
In other news, KFU entered the University Consortium of Big Data Research. The Consortium conducts work in education, public safety, economics, and politics. The participants have access to a sizable database of social network data.
The Academic Board approved budgetary disbursements for 2023 and a list of major events to be organized by the University, as well as the Board’s own plan for the year.
In conclusion, Lenar Safin said that year-end bonuses will be allocated to those who contributed to academic affairs in 2022.
