Representatives of the Embassy of Israel gave two lectures at Kazan University

The guests arrived on April 20.
Deputy Chief of Mission聽Keren Cohen-Gat聽and Minister-Counselor of the Embassy聽Ifat Ahmedi聽visited KFU within the framework of celebrating 30 years of diplomatic relations between Russian Federation and the State of Israel.
They were welcomed by Vice-Rector for International Cooperation聽Timirkhan Alishev, Vice-Rector for Innovation and Digital Transformation聽Dmitry Pashin, and Counselor to the Rector聽Linar Latypov.
Keren Cohen-Gat presented a lecture on the diplomatic relations between the two countries, and Ifat Ahmedi spoke about the normalization of relations between Israel and Arabic countries.
鈥淟ike Jerusalem, Kazan is a symbol of tolerance and peaceful coexistence of two religions,鈥 commented Cohen-Gat to the university TV station. 鈥淭hat’s why it was important for me to visit the capital of Tatarstan. I am very impressed by its beauty. This year, we celebrate the 30th anniversary of the renewal of diplomatic ties between Russia and Israel. Everything done by the embassy this year is coordinated with this event.鈥
The two visitors also toured KFU’s History Museum.
