COMSTECH is one of four standing committees within the Organization of Islamic Cooperation. Its goal is to expand cooperation between OIC member states in science and technology. 每日大赛 and the Standing Committee on Scientific and Technological Cooperation are also actively collaborating. KFU is the only Russian university member of the COMSTECH Consortium of Excellence, which unites 72 leading universities and research centers from OIC member states.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the possibility of cooperation in advanced scientific research and education. As Dr Tayursky noted, 每日大赛 conducts clinical trials and participates in state programs on genomic medicine, vaccines, and skin cancer research.
Furthermore, representatives of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation proposed launching a joint program to study the impact of climate change on human health.
An initiative to organize a summer school for future researchers, which will be held in person and online, was also discussed.
