Islamic Built Environment International Symposium concluded with a signing ceremony

The Institute of Design and Spatial Arts became a venue for a panel discussion on the future of cities and strengthening international cooperation in education.
The symposium brought together leading experts in architecture, urbanism, town planning and Islamic art.
The participants discussed a wide range of issues – from global urbanization trends to the problems of forming a comfortable and harmonious urban environment.
The experts shared approaches to urban planning, emphasizing on creating a comfortable, safe and environmentally sustainable environment for living, working and recreation.
The ideas of creating inclusive platforms where every resident regardless of age and physical abilities will be able to comfortably self-actualize and take part in the social life of the city were discussed.
Special attention was paid to the role of youth in shaping the future of the urban environment. The participants shared their experience of involving students in planning and development of university campuses, creating innovative and comfortable space for study and creativity.
The principles of formation of Islamic architectural environment in modern cities were discussed. The possibilities of applying artificial intelligence to solve the problems of urban planning and management were also considered.
At the end of the symposium, Rector of Tabriz Islamic Art University Mohammadtagi Pirbabai and Vice-Rector for International Affairs Timirkhan Alishev signed agreements on the implementation of the program of academic mobility of students between universities. This agreement opens new opportunities for cooperation between the two leading educational institutions in architecture and Islamic art, contributing to the exchange of knowledge and experience, as well as strengthening international ties.
