University visited by Rector of Belarusian State University Andrey Korol
The delegation arrived on 9 December.
The sides discussed cooperation in physics, astronomy, chemistry, materials science, medicine, environmental science, engineering, and design.
Notably, during the past two years KFU and BSU have implemented a big project in longtime climate change and extreme weather in Russia and Belarus. Currently, the two institutions work together in thermodynamics of phase transitions and organic chemistry.
Belarusian State University is one of the major universities of Eastern Europe, specializing in fundamental physics, space science, thermal resistance, and oncology. BSU has over 450 agreements with institutions from over 60 countries.
Rector Ilshat Gafurov noted that scientific and educational organizations make major contributions to the development of the Union State of Russia and Belarus.
Andrey Korol had high praise for KFU鈥檚 potential and said that Belarusian University aims to establish collaborations with best global universities.
In total, KFU has friendly links with 10 Belarusian universities, including Belarusian National Technical University and Belarusian State Pedagogical University, and major industrial corporations, such as Belorusneft.
