University鈥檚 media department commended in annual Ministry of Science and Higher Education awards
The ceremony was conducted in Moscow on 4 December by Deputy Minister Yelena Druzhinina.
KFU was represented by Director of the Department for Information Policy Salavat Mukhamadullin and Head of the Media Center Pavel Vakhrushev.
Deputy Minister Druzhinina noted that during the Year of Science and Technology the prominence of research news in national media has impressively increased. She also mentioned the Ministry鈥檚 newly established ranking of media offices of Russian universities (KFU was in seventh place in the latest edition).
During the event, the awardees presented their best practices. Salavat Mukhamadullin spoke on behalf of Kazan University.
In other news, two of the university鈥檚 news reports 鈥� about Leo Tolstoy and Alexander Butlerov 鈥� were awarded in the Best Video by Youth Media nomination.
