KFU visited by Consul General of Vietnam in Yekaterinburg Nguyen Mai Huong
She and her colleagues were accompanied at the History Museum by the Director of KFU’s Museum Complex Svetlana Frolova.
The guests were then familiarized with the University’s current affairs and priorities. Among our partners in the country are Hue University, Ho Chi Minh University of Technology, and Hanoi University of Mining and Geology. There are 33 Vietnamese nationals enrolled in KFU as of this date.
A large-scale R&D is ongoing with participation of the KFU petroleum scientists and Vietnamese partners, titled Conducting pilot tests of surfactant-polymer flooding technology in the Lower Miocene reservoir of the central block of the White Tiger field for the purpose of increasing oil recovery.

On 23 – 28 March 2026, a delegation of the Preparatory School for International Students represented Russia at an education fair in Hanoi.
