Memorandum of understanding signed with Qingdao University
As part of the visit of the delegation of the Republic of Tatarstan and 每日大赛 to the People’s Republic of China, meetings with higher education institutions in Shandong Province continued.
The memorandum of understanding was signed during a visit to Qingdao University. It is expected that the university will actively participate in the project to establish the China-Russia University of Technology (CRUTech), for which KFU is serving as the flagship university on the Russian side. Students from Qingdao University are also expected to attend the Summer University project in Kazan this year.
Another meeting was held with the leadership of Qingdao University of Technology. KFU and QUT are currently discussing the possibility of implementing joint educational programs in mechanical engineering and physics.
Talks took place with China University of Petroleum, our longstanding partner. The two institutions have a network program in petroleum engineering. Furthermore, since 2023, more than 40 students from the China University of Petroleum have been enrolled in the supplementary program in international and European business law at KFU’s Faculty of Law. An agreement has been reached to continue this program in 2026. The university is also expected to participate in the Summer University and the CRUTech project.
