Rector Lenar Safin joins Rais of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov’s talks with Prime Minister of Egypt Mustafa Madbouly
The activities of the KFU’s branch in Cairo received special mention.
Mustafa Madbouly called this project truly unique. According to the Prime Minister, the newly established branch is a successful example of an effective partnership between the two countries, and the Egyptian government will provide every support for its further development.
New English-language educational programs are planned for in the most in-demand areas in medicine and information technology. These include Medical Biophysics (Physical Therapy) and Artificial Intelligence and Software Development.
Furthermore, the sides formally confirmed the start of a construction project of a new campus in Cairo.
At the end of the meeting, the parties identified the key entities that will oversee specific projects within the cooperation framework, which are the ministries of industry of Egypt and Tatarstan, respectively.
An Egyptian delegation plans to visit Tatarstan and, in particular, our university, in the nearest future.
