University visited by President of the Republic of Guinea-Bissau Umaro Sissoco Embal贸




The dignitary was accompanied by Rais (Governor) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov on 10 May.
Before the visit, President Embal贸 attended the Victory Parade in Moscow on 9 May and spoke with the President of Russia Vladimir Putin.
At the University, the President of Guinea-Bissau toured the History Museum and the Lenin Memorial Classroom and listened to a presentation by First Vice-Rector Dmitry Tayursky.
The guest also met with KFU’s Bissau-Guinean students.
Vice-Rector for International Affairs Timirkhan Alishev informed that the sides discussed the African nation’s demand for professionals in geology and mining – the country has significant reserves of bauxites and phosphates. A question of agricultural training was also raised.
