International Olympiads of KFU
Dear participants!
Take advantage of the excellent opportunity to get a higher education at the Kazan (Volga region) Federal University for free! Participate in International Olympiads of KFU!
Kazan (Volga Region) Federal University invites 10th-11th grade school students, as well as university graduates and senior year bachelor students from foreign countries to participate in International Olympiads of KFU!
Winners and awardees will be assigned quotas to study under bachelor’s, specialist, and master’s programs at Kazan (Volga Region) Federal University or other Russian university for 2026/27 academic year.
Participation is free of charge.
THE OLYMPIADS IN ACADEMIC YEAR 2025/2026 ARE HELD IN TWO STAGES:
- QUALIFICATION STAGE 鈥� December 1, 2025 – January 13, 2026, online (registration on ). Winners and awardees of the qualifying stage (up to 45% of the total number of participants for school pupils and up to 50% of the total number for university students in each subject) will be invited to the final stage.
- FINAL STAGE 鈥� 2-10 February 2026, in-person at the venues of KFU partners using distance learning technologies.
Qualification Stage

Qualifying stage will be held on December, 1, 2025 – January, 13, 2026.
If you’ve decided to take part in the Olympiad, you should:
Step 1. Register on or log in to your existing account. .

Step 2. Get a username and password to access your personal account.
Step 3. Select the tab 芦Interregional subject Olympiads of KFU禄 in your personal account.
Step 4. Carefully follow the steps described in your personal account.
The participant is responsible for completeness and accuracy of the data provided in the registration form. It is forbidden to fill data with Caps Lock on.
Step 5. Take part in the Olympiad in chosen subject.
Any registered participant can only participate once in each chosen subject. If a participant has taken part in the qualifying stage more than once in the same subject, only the first result will be counted in the rating table. If a participant does not click the “Finish Testing” button after completing the test, he will be given 0 points. The Olympiads are held according to the subjects and grades.
Final Stage
Winners and prize-winners of the qualification stage (up to 45% of participants on each subject) will be qualified for participation in the final stage. Winners and prize-winners of the final stage of last year’s Olympiads who continue studying under general education programs are also invited to participate in the final stage.
Final stage will be held during 2-10 February 2026 offline (in person) at university and university partner鈥檚 facilities in Kazan and abroad or online with the use of distant educational technologies
Winners and prize-winners of the Olympiad will receive quotas of Ministry Science and Higher Education of Russian Federation for higher education at Kazan (Volga region) Federal University starting from the next academic year.

The final stage will take place from February 2 to February 6 both in offline and online formats, in accordance with the attached schedule听()听
The schedule is based on Moscow time. We kindly ask you to take this into account to avoid any misunderstandings.
Offline venues are located in Kazan and Uralsk. Participants can attend the venues at the indicated addresses and times.
Online participation is available from any country via the proctoring system (ProctorEdu). Please consider the time zone difference 鈥� online access will open at the specified Moscow time. For your convenience, instructions for using the system are attached听()
We also draw your attention to the fact that the system may experience difficulties in the Safari browser. Please use other browsers, Edge will be suitable. The main device for taking the exam must be only PC/laptop, you cannot use phones/tablets for solving exam tasks.
No additional registration for the final stage is required. The exam link will appear in your personal account on the day of the Olympiad.
